This article is for vendors. You connect your Salesforce org to a directory in Customizations > Integrations, on the CRM Integrations page. Each directory has its own Salesforce connection.
Who can do this: Admin and Manager roles connect, reconnect and disconnect; Members can see the status · Availability: available on request: contact PartnerPage support to turn it on
What the Salesforce connection does
The Salesforce connection authorizes PartnerPage to use your Salesforce org for one directory. The connection on its own doesn't send partners, contact requests or deal registrations to Salesforce, and it doesn't bring Salesforce records into PartnerPage.
To send contact requests to Salesforce or another CRM, use directory webhooks or the PartnerPage API. See Connect HubSpot, Zapier, Make or n8n.
Connect Salesforce
Open your directory and go to Customizations > Integrations.
On the Salesforce card, click Connect Salesforce. Salesforce opens in a new browser tab.
Sign in to Salesforce and allow access.
Go back to the PartnerPage tab. The status updates when you return; you can also click Check status.
You see "Integration connected", the Connected status and the First connected date. Until you finish in Salesforce, the card says the connection is not confirmed yet. To stop, click Cancel.
Salesforce connection statuses
The status badge on the Salesforce card shows the state of the connection.
Status | What it means |
Never connected | The directory has never been connected to Salesforce. |
Connected | Salesforce is connected to this directory. |
Action required | Salesforce no longer accepts PartnerPage's access, so the connection must be authorized again. |
Disconnected | Someone disconnected Salesforce. The card shows the Disconnected date. |
Reconnect Salesforce
When the Salesforce connection shows Action required, the card says "Salesforce needs your attention".
Click Reconnect Salesforce.
In the new tab, sign in to Salesforce and allow access.
Go back to PartnerPage and click Check status.
If reconnecting fails, disconnect Salesforce and connect it again.
Disconnect Salesforce
On the Salesforce card, click Disconnect.
Click Disconnect again to confirm.
You see "Integration disconnected". You can connect Salesforce again at any time with Connect Salesforce.
What you can't do
Connect two Salesforce orgs to one directory. Each directory has one Salesforce connection. To switch orgs, disconnect, then connect with the other org.
Find Integrations before it's switched on. Integrations appears under Customizations only after PartnerPage support turns on the Salesforce connection for your directory.
The PartnerPage for Salesforce package
The PartnerPage for Salesforce package is a separate tool that your Salesforce admin installs in Salesforce. The package uses your organization API key, not the connection on the CRM Integrations page.
Common questions
Does PartnerPage send deal registrations or contact requests to Salesforce?
No. The Salesforce connection doesn't send deal registrations, contact requests or partners to Salesforce. To get contact requests into a CRM, use a directory webhook or the API.
Why don't I see Integrations in Customizations?
Integrations appears only after PartnerPage support turns on the Salesforce connection for your directory, and only for the Admin, Manager and Member roles.
