When a matchmaking request is made, it gets emailed to all team members who are designated to get them. This is controlled in Settings > Team. The matchmaking request gets stored within the matchmaking requests section within PartnerPage. Click on the matchmaking request that needs to be assigned.

Then click on the ‘Browse’ to select the service partners that are the the best match.

Click the checkboxes of the partners you wish to assign the request to, and click 'Done.'

When you click 'Done', PartnerPage will automatically create leads for the partners as well, as send them a notification via email. For the partner, it will be the same experience as if the customer reached out to them directly through the Contact request functionality.

When a Matchmaking request is assigned to a partner (or multiple partners), PartnerPage creates a Contact request for each to allow you to track the lead and project status as it is updated by the partner.

From the contact request section, you can see which partner accepted the lead, and the status of the project.

Matchmaking/contact Request Flow for Service Partners

The example below shows what the email for a matchmaking or contact request looks like. It shows up in the email inbox as a new contact request from noreply@partnerpage.io, and all of the necessary information about the request is in the email. Your partner will then click on 'Let (Directory Name) Know You Got This' and your partner is directed to log in to PartnerPage.

After clicking on 'Let (Directory Name) Know You Got This' your partner is directed to login to PartnerPage. After logging in, your partner is taken directly to the lead that was emailed to them.

Your partner will then hit 'Decline' if they're unable to take on the project, or 'Accept' if they are contacting the person who submitted the lead. If they click 'Accept,' they can add additional project statuses: Lead lost, lead contacted, and project secured.

If the Project status isn't available in your account, reach out to PartnerPage.

If all partners 'Decline' the Contact request, it will get resent to you as a Matchmaking request for you to assign again. You will not be able to reassign it to partners who had previously been assigned and declined.
