“New” Status

When you first receive a project, you will see it in your dashboard with the status “New.” You then have two options to update the status:

  • Accept: This means that this project interests you, and you will contact the customer for a discovery/scoping call. This does not mean that you are committing yourself to working on the project.

  • Decline: This means that you have reviewed the project details before reaching out to the customer and have deemed the project not a good fit. This could be for a multitude of reasons:

    • Budget too low

    • At capacity

    • You do not perform the services requested

If you decline a project, it will be archived, and you will not see any more notifications for that specific project.

If you accept a project, the project will then move into the “active” status.

“Active” Status

After you have accepted a project, you will see the status change to “active.” This means you have reached out to the customer and are discussing the project's scope to see if this is a good fit. From here, you have two more options to update the status:

  • Secured means that you and the customer have agreed on the project scope and pricing and are ready to begin working on the project. This lets us know that you have won the deal.

  • Declined means that during the scoping/discovery phase, you and the customer have declined to work together. Again, this could be for many different reasons.

If you decline a project, it will be archived, and you will not see any more notifications for that specific project.

If you secure a project, it will move into the “secured” status. You can create a payment link via our embedded Stripe payment links or pay the revenue share. You can collect payment from the customer whenever your typical process allows (i.e., before work is started, ½ before ½ at completion, etc.)

Updating the status of a lead

Upon accepting the lead, you are now able to update the status of the lead in the top right of the screen next to "Progress Status"

As you progress through discovery with the customer, you are able to update the status in order to keep track of each project, these status's include:

  • Contacted

  • Call booked

  • Proposal sent

  • Call completed

  • Other

Once you have updated the status of the project, the "Progress Status" will display the latest update made.

Completing the Project:

Once you have secured the project and it is in the “secured” status, you can complete it after collecting payment. Once the customer has paid via the Stripe link or submitted your revenue share payment, you can mark the project as completed. We will ask for the final deal value and other pertinent information about the project. Once complete, the customer will receive an NPS survey for your work, and you will be able to review the customer as well (they will not see your remarks).
