This article is for partners. A contact request is a message a visitor sends you through the contact form on your profile in a vendor's directory. You answer it in the PartnerPage dashboard.
Who can do this: Admin, Manager and Profile Manager roles · Availability: directories where the directory owner has contact requests switched on
Find your contact requests
In Your public profiles, click the row for the directory.
In the sidebar, click Contact requests.
The list has the tabs All, Pending, Accepted, Declined and Closed, and a Search by customer box. Each profile has its own list. Requests can also come from the directory owner, who may match you with a visitor or move a request to you.
Accept or decline a request
Open the request.
Read the request and the Customer details card.
Click Accept to take the request on, or Decline if you won't.
If you decline, select a reason and click Confirm.
You can only accept or decline a Pending request, and declining can't be undone. PartnerPage doesn't contact the customer for you, so reach out by email or phone yourself.
Respond within 3 days. After that, the directory owner sees a pending request with no activity marked Stale and may send you a reminder, give it to another partner or close it.
Update the project status
In directories that track project status, an accepted request has a Project status card. Accepting sets it to New. To change it, pick a status and click Save. You can change any project status to any other, and the directory owner sees every change. Use the statuses like this:
New: not acted on yet.
Contacted: you reached out to the customer.
Engaged: you're in active conversation.
On hold: paused by either side.
Secured: the customer agreed to work with you.
Launched / Deployed: the work or integration is live.
Lost: it didn't go ahead. PartnerPage asks you for a reason.
Leave a note for the directory owner
On a request's page, type a note in the Leave a comment... box and click Post. Notes are visible to the directory owner's team, not the customer.
Closed requests
The directory owner can close a request, for example if it was spam. A closed request shows who closed it, when and why, and you can't accept, decline or update it.
Who gets contact request emails
Each contact request is emailed to everyone at your company whose role can open contact requests. If the directory owner has picked specific people for your profile (its Partner contacts list), only those people get the emails. There is no setting to switch these emails off: to add or remove someone, ask the directory owner.
Send contact requests to your own tools
To send each new contact request to your CRM, see Send new leads to your own tools with a webhook.
