To take a partner out of your directory, set their profile to Inactive, which hides it but keeps everything, or click Delete partner, which removes it for good. You do both from the partner's page in Partners. To remove one person's access instead, use Partner contacts. This article is for vendors.

Choose how to remove a partner
The following table compares the ways to remove a partner from your directory.
Option | What visitors see | What is kept | Can you undo it? |
Set Status to Inactive | The profile isn't listed and its page shows "Page not found". | Everything: the profile, its people, contact requests, deal registrations and history. | Yes. Change the status back. |
Delete partner | The profile isn't listed and its page shows "Page not found". | The profile leaves Partners and its deal registrations leave your queue. Its contact requests and reviews stay in your lists for reference. | No, not from the dashboard. |
Remove a person in Partner contacts | Nothing changes. | The profile stays. Only that person loses access. | Yes. Add them again. |
If you aren't sure, choose Inactive: you can always delete the partner later.
Hide a partner with Inactive
Setting a partner profile to Inactive takes it out of your directory without losing anything. To set a partner to Inactive:
In Partners, click the partner's name.
In Profile settings, set Status to Inactive.
Click Save.
The profile isn't listed and its page shows "Page not found" to visitors. The partner's people can still sign in and see the profile, marked Inactive. To bring the partner back, set Status to Public. See Partner profile statuses: Public, Searchable, Hidden, Inactive.
Delete a partner
Delete partner removes a partner profile from your directory permanently. Before you delete a partner, export anything you want to keep: Partners > Export, and Contact requests > Export. To delete a partner:
In Partners, click the partner's name.
At the bottom of the page, click Delete partner.
In the confirmation, click Delete partner.
You see "Partner deleted" and go back to Partners. Deleting a partner:
Removes the profile from Partners and from your public directory. Its page address stops working.
Keeps the partner's contact requests in Contact requests for you, marked "This partner was deleted. The request is kept for reference." The partner can no longer see them. Reporting still counts them.
Removes the partner's deal registrations from Deal registrations, for you and for the partner.
Keeps the partner's reviews in Reviews.
Removes the partner's people from your Scheduler event types.
Doesn't delete the partner's company account or their people's PartnerPage logins, or their profiles in other directories.
Remove one person's access to a profile
Partner contacts on the partner's page lists the people at the partner who can edit the profile and receive its contact requests. To remove one person:
In Partners, click the partner's name.
In Partner contacts, click the three-dot menu next to the person.
Click Remove, then Remove again to confirm.
The person can no longer edit the profile or receive its contact requests. Their PartnerPage account isn't changed. For someone who was invited but hasn't joined yet, click Remove invitation instead. If you remove everyone, nobody at the partner can edit the profile and the card warns "Leads for this profile reach nobody." See Choose who at a partner can edit the profile and receive contact requests.
What can't be undone
Deleting a partner can't be undone in the dashboard: the confirmation says "This can't be undone." If you delete one by mistake, contact PartnerPage support straight away.
A deleted partner's External ID stays taken in that directory, so you can't create a partner with the same External ID again.
When a partner asks to leave your directory
Partners can't delete their profile or leave a directory themselves; they ask the vendor. Set the profile to Inactive or delete it as described in this article. The partner-side answer is in Remove your profile or leave a directory.
