LMS in your dashboard is where you create training courses for your partners: trainings, resources, learning tracks and quizzes. Partners take the training in Learning, in their own PartnerPage dashboard. This article is for vendors.

Who can do this: Admin role · Availability: available on request: contact PartnerPage support to turn on LMS for your company

What LMS includes

LMS appears in your dashboard's main sidebar once PartnerPage support turns it on. LMS is one training library for your company, shared by all your directories. LMS has four pages:

  • Trainings: single lessons. Each training is a video, a PDF file or a text page.

  • Resources: material partners open or download, such as guides or price lists, as a link or a file.

  • Learning tracks: trainings in an order you choose, with an optional quiz at the end.

  • Quizzes: questions with one or more correct answers and a passing score. Partners take a quiz inside a learning track.

Every training, resource, learning track and quiz has a Status: Hidden (the default) or Public. Partners see only Public items, so keep drafts Hidden.

Who sees your training

Partners see your Public trainings, resources and learning tracks once their company has a profile in one of your directories, whatever the profile's status. A profile that no partner company has claimed gives no one access.

Everyone at the partner's company sees the same content, whatever their role. You can't show content to only some partners, tiers or directories. PartnerPage doesn't email partners when you publish training, so tell them yourself.

Create a training

  1. In LMS, click Trainings, then Create training.

  2. Enter a Title. Optionally add a Description (up to 500 characters) and a Cover image (JPG, PNG, WEBP or SVG, up to 4 MB).

  3. Under Select training type, pick one:

    • Video URL: paste the video's link. YouTube, Vimeo and MP4 links play inside the training.

    • Upload a file: a PDF up to 4 MB.

    • Text content: write the lesson, up to 5,000 characters.

  4. Under Settings, set Status to Public when partners should see the training.

  5. Click Save.

The training's page opens with an Assets card. Add up to 10 assets to a training, such as slides or a worksheet: each one is a link, or an image or PDF file up to 4 MB. Drag assets to change their order. Partners see a training's assets under Resources on the training.

Add a resource

  1. In LMS, click Resources, then Create resource.

  2. Enter a Title and, optionally, a Description.

  3. Under Select resource type, pick Link to a URL and paste the address, or Upload a file and add a PDF, Word (.docx) or Excel (.xlsx) file up to 4 MB.

  4. Set the Status and click Save.

Build a learning track

  1. In LMS, click Learning tracks, then Create learning track.

  2. Enter a Title, a short Description (up to 100 characters) and, optionally, a Cover image. Set the Status and click Save.

  3. On the learning track's page, in the Trainings card, click Browse and pick the trainings in the Edit trainings window. Drag the trainings into the order partners should follow.

  4. In the Quiz card, pick a quiz if the track ends with one.

  5. Click Save.

A learning track shows partners only its Public trainings, and its quiz only while the quiz is Public.

Create a quiz

  1. In LMS, click Quizzes, then Create quiz.

  2. Enter a Title, set the Status and enter a Passing score from 0 to 100 (a percentage). Click Save.

  3. On the quiz's page, in Questions, click Add new question and pick Single answer or Multiple answers.

  4. Enter the Question label and at least two options (click Add an option for more). Tick Correct for each right answer, then click Done.

  5. Click Save.

To show the quiz to partners, add the quiz to a learning track.

How quiz scores work

A quiz score is the percentage of questions answered correctly. A Multiple answers question counts as correct only when the partner picks every correct option and no other. A partner passes when the score is at or above the passing score.

Partners see their own score, such as "Your score was 4/5", and can retake a quiz they failed. You can't see partners' progress or quiz scores in the dashboard.

What you can't do

  • See who completed training: LMS has no report of partners' progress or scores.

  • Award certifications automatically: passing a quiz doesn't add a certification to a partner's profile. Assign certifications yourself on the partner's profile. See Show certifications and verifications.

  • Target content: every partner with a profile in your directories sees all your Public content.

Common questions

Where do partners find the training?

Partners find your training in Learning in the main sidebar of their PartnerPage dashboard, on a card with your company's name and logo. See Complete trainings in Learning.

Why doesn't a partner see my training?

A partner doesn't see training when the item is Hidden, when their company has no profile in your directories, or when nobody at their company has claimed the profile.
