Badges are small images, such as "Certified" or "Top partner", that appear at the top of the sidebar on a partner's profile page. You create your directory's badges in Badges, then add them to profiles, and partners can also pick them from your list. This article is for vendors.

How badges work
Your directory has one list of badges, managed in Badges. A badge reaches a partner's profile in one of two ways:
Your team adds it on the partner's page in Partners.
The partner picks it from your list in the Badges card of their own profile.
A profile can show up to 10 badges. Badges appear on the profile page only, not on the listing cards in the directory.
Create a badge
To create a badge:
In your directory's sidebar, click Badges.
Click Create badge.
In Badge name, enter the name, up to 100 characters.
Under Image, upload a JPG, PNG, SVG, WebP or GIF image, no larger than 512 px and 256 KB.
Click Save.
A directory can have up to 100 badges.
Add a badge to a partner's profile
To add a badge to a partner's profile:
In Partners, click the partner.
In the Badges card, click Add badge.
In Badges, choose the badge.
Click Save.
You see "Badge added". Drag badges in the card to change their order, or remove a badge from the profile. If you see "No selectable badges", every badge in your list is already on the profile, or your list is empty.
Let partners pick badges
Partners can add badges from your list in the Badges card of their profile, the same way your team does. To keep badges for your team to award, lock the Badges field so partners see it as "Managed by directory owner". Locked fields are available on request: see Lock profile fields so partners can't edit them. If profile approval is on for your directory, a partner's badge changes wait for your approval like their other changes.
Change or delete a badge
To change a badge's name or image, open it in Badges, make the change and click Save. The change shows on every profile that has the badge.
To delete a badge, open it, click Delete badge and confirm. The badge disappears from every profile that had it. Deleting a badge can't be undone.
Common questions
Where do badges show on the directory?
Badges show at the top of the sidebar on a partner's profile page. They don't show on the listing cards. To label partners on the cards, use callouts or tiers: see Highlight partners with callouts and Group and rank partners with tiers.
Can I see which partners have a badge?
The Badges page doesn't list the partners that have each badge. Open a partner in Partners to see its badges.
