In All directories you create a new partner directory, see every directory your company runs with its address, type and plan, and archive a directory you no longer use. This article is for vendors.
Who can do this: Admin role (Managers and Members can see the list but can't create or archive) · Availability: all directories, up to 50 per company
Create a directory
To create a partner directory:
In the sidebar, click All directories.
Click Create directory.
Under "Select a partner type to get started", click Service Partners or Technology Partners.
Under "Name your directory", keep the suggested name (for example "Acme Service Partner Directory") or type your own, up to 100 characters.
Click Create directory.
The new directory opens in your dashboard, with its own sidebar. Next, set up filters and add partners: see Get started with PartnerPage.
Service Partners or Technology Partners
The partner type you pick when you create a directory decides how PartnerPage sets it up:
Service Partners suits agencies, consultants and resellers. The sidebar shows the directory as Service Partner directory.
Technology Partners suits integrations and software partners. The sidebar shows Technology Partner directory, and Add partner can pick companies from PartnerPage's catalogue.
Each type starts with its own first section (hero) on the directory page. To change a directory's type after you create it, contact PartnerPage support.
What a new directory includes
A new directory is live at its own address as soon as you create it, with no partners yet. It starts with:
An address such as
acme.partnerpage.io, based on your company name. To serve it on your own domain, see Use your own domain for your directory. The Free plan, shown in the Plan column of All directories.
A navigation bar, a first section (hero) and a footer, which you can change in Customizations > Branding and layout. In a Technology Partners directory the first section shows the directory's name; in a Service Partners directory it shows sample text and expert cards to replace with your own.
A Get Listed link and a partner application form, so partners can sign up.
Most other features, such as contact requests, tiers and badges, start switched off and are available on request. See Features available on request.
Rename a directory
To rename a directory, go to Customizations > Configuration in that directory, change Directory name and click Save. Renaming doesn't change the directory's partnerpage.io address or text you already set in Branding and layout, such as the heading of the first section. See Directory settings in Configuration.
Archive a directory
Archiving takes a directory offline and removes it from All directories. To archive a directory:
In All directories, click the three-dot menu at the end of the directory's row.
Click Archive.
Read the list of what happens, then type the directory's name exactly as shown.
Click Archive Directory.
You see "Directory archived". The public directory goes offline and stops accepting new contact and matchmaking requests. PartnerPage keeps the directory's partners, requests and settings. You can't undo an archive in the dashboard: contact PartnerPage support if you archived the wrong directory.
If the directory uses a custom domain you want to reuse, click Delete custom URL in its Customizations > URLs before you archive it. An archived directory keeps its domain, and another directory can't use the domain until support frees it.
What you can't do
Have more than 50 directories at once. Archived directories don't count toward the limit.
Delete a directory permanently from the dashboard. Archive is the only option.
Change the partner type yourself after creating the directory.
Troubleshooting
Create directory is greyed out
Your company already has 50 directories. Archive one you no longer use, then try again.
I don't see Create directory or Archive
Only the Admin role can create and archive directories. Ask an Admin at your company, or ask them to give you the Admin role in Settings > Team.
I don't see All directories in the sidebar
The Admin, Manager and Member roles see All directories. If nobody at your company sees it, contact PartnerPage support.
