This checklist takes you from an empty account to a live partner directory that visitors can browse. It is for vendors who run a directory. You do everything in the dashboard at https://directory.partnerpage.io.

Who can do this: Admin role for every step; Managers can add and invite partners · Availability: all directories

1. Log in

Log in at https://directory.partnerpage.io with your work email. See Log in to PartnerPage. To give colleagues access, invite them in Settings > Team.

2. Create or open your directory

To create a directory, go to All directories, click Create directory, choose Service Partners or Technology Partners, name the directory and click Create directory. If your directory already exists, click its name in All directories to open it. See Create a directory.

Your directory is live at an address such as acme.partnerpage.io from the start, with no partners. The remaining steps happen inside the directory, in its sidebar.

3. Set up search filters

Filters let visitors narrow the directory, for example by language, region or product, and let partners describe what they offer. In Filters, click Create filter, name the filter, save it, then add its options. Set up filters before you invite partners, so partners can fill them in on their profiles. See Set up search filters.

4. Add or invite partners

In Partners, add your partners in one of these ways:

New profiles start Hidden (unless you pick another status when you add one), so visitors don't see them until you publish them. When a profile is ready, set its Status to Public in Profile settings and click Save. See Partner profile statuses: Public, Searchable, Hidden, Inactive.

5. Brand your directory

In Customizations > Branding and layout, set your Brand color, Logo and Favicon on the Branding tab, then adjust the page sections on the Layout tab, such as the first section's heading and the navigation bar. The editor shows a preview of each page. See Brand your directory and Change page layouts and sections.

6. Use your own domain

To serve the directory on your website's domain, such as partners.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com/partners, open Customizations > URLs and follow the steps for the DNS or Reverse proxy method. Your web team usually needs to add one DNS record. See Use your own domain for your directory.

7. Share or embed the directory

To check what visitors see, click View directory in the sidebar. Then share the directory:

  • Link to it from your website's navigation, partner pages and emails.

  • Or show it inside a page of your website with the PartnerPage widget or an iframe. See Embed your directory on your website.

8. Ask for the features you need

Many features, such as contact requests, matchmaking, tiers, badges and translations, are switched on by PartnerPage support, directory by directory. To turn one on, contact PartnerPage support. See Features available on request.
