Some directories list apps, such as integrations, next to their partners. You manage them in Apps, in your directory's sidebar. An app listing is a card in the directory: it has no profile page, so clicking the card opens the app's own website. This article is for vendors.
Who can do this: Admin and Manager roles (Members can view and export apps) · Availability: available on request: contact PartnerPage support to turn on apps for your directory
How app listings work
App listings follow these rules:
A card, not a page. An app's card shows its Logo, name, tier and up to 2 callouts. Clicking the card, or the app in the search suggestions, opens the App website in a new tab.
No text under the name, by default. Listing cards show a profile's description under its name. Apps have no description field in the dashboard (only the API can set one), so the card of an app added in the dashboard shows no text there. To show each card's Headline instead, ask PartnerPage support; the change applies to partner cards too.
Same statuses as partners. Public apps are always listed, Searchable apps appear after a search or filter, and Hidden or Inactive apps aren't listed. See Partner profile statuses: Public, Searchable, Hidden, Inactive.
Same filters, tiers and featuring. Apps can have filter options, a tier and the Featured setting, like partners.
Not in the internal directory. The internal directory lists partners only.
Add an app
To add an app:
In your directory's sidebar, click Apps.
Click Add app.
Fill in Name (up to 255 characters), Headline (up to 250) and App website (up to 200).
Upload a Logo: a landscape JPG, PNG, SVG, WebP or GIF image, up to 1200 px wide and 1 MB. Optionally, add a Square logo (up to 512 px and 256 KB), used in the search suggestions.
Under Profile settings, choose the Status. New apps start Hidden. If your directory has tiers or featured listings, also set Tier and Featured.
Click Save in the Unsaved changes bar.
The app's page opens with "Added" and the app's name, and a link to add another app.
Edit or delete an app
To edit an app:
In Apps, click the app. Search by name, or use the views All, Public, Hidden, Searchable and Inactive.
Change the details, the Profile settings, or the app's options in the Filters card.
Click Save in the Unsaved changes bar.
You see "App profile saved". To label the app on its card, add up to 2 callouts in the Callouts card: see Highlight partners with callouts.
To delete an app, click Delete app at the bottom of its page and confirm. You see "App deleted". Deleting an app can't be undone.
Export your apps
To download your apps as a CSV file, click Export in Apps and choose all apps or only those matching your current search and filters. The file includes each app's name, headline, website, status, tier, logos and the company that owns the listing (entry_owner_name). See Export partners, applications and reviews.
Let an app's company edit its listing
An app listing you add belongs to your own company. To let the company that makes the app edit its listing, contact PartnerPage support with the app's name and the company's PartnerPage account: support can link the listing to that company. There's no invitation or claim link for apps.
Once linked, people at that company find the app under Your public profiles in their dashboard and edit it from Profile. They can change the Name, Headline, App website, Logo, Square logo, up to 2 Callouts from your list, and the app's Filters. Their changes go live when they save; apps have no approval step. Only your team changes the status, tier and Featured setting.
Common questions
Why does clicking an app open its website instead of a profile?
Apps have no profile page in the directory. The card links straight to the App website, so check that address on the app's page in Apps.
Can visitors contact an app or leave a review?
No. Contact requests, reviews and deal registrations are for partner profiles only. To send visitors to a page about the app, use the App website.
Why don't I see Apps in my sidebar?
Apps appears when PartnerPage support has turned on apps for your directory. Contact support to turn it on.
